Elizabeth Wells works alongside her mother, Carrie Shoaf, as a global real estate advisor with Scenic Sotheby’s International Realty. Starting her career at age 14 in the family restaurant and luxury hospitality industries, Elizabeth spent 17 years working in some of the finest restaurants and hotels in the country. She was part of the opening team at The Pearl Hotel in Rosemary Beach in 2013, serving as the general manager of the Havana Beach Grill. In 2015, she relocated to the Napa Valley in California to work in a three-star Michelin restaurant, one of only 14 in the United States. After three years, she joined a family-owned restaurant group in Napa Valley as a district manager.
Elizabeth grew up with a father in the hotel and restaurant business and a mother who has more than two decades as a top producer in real estate for Sotheby’s International Realty. Her passion to serve others started at a young age. She made the decision to take the skills learned while growing up in the luxury hospitality industry and begin a career in real estate, returning to the beaches of northwest Florida.
Elizabeth holds a bachelor’s degree in organizational communication from the University of Utah. Between schooling and her professional career, she has been equipped with skills including customer service, problem-solving, leadership, and systems and processes that are beneficial to real estate clients. She describes herself as devoted, committed, and loyal. In her free time, she enjoys spinning, yoga, and golf, as well as cooking and baking and sharing recipes with friends and family. She is passionate about animal welfare and individuals with food insecurities and hopes to begin volunteering in those capacities soon. Elizabeth enjoys podcasts on human behavior, social sciences and psychology and has one cat, Dusty.
