The Real Deal reports that a beachfront mansion in Florida’s Panhandle sold for a record $41 million, marking the highest residential sale ever recorded in the region’s luxury market. Located at 281 Paradise by the Sea Boulevard in Inlet Beach, the property spans roughly 0.7 acres and includes an approximately 8,900-square-foot Palladian-style residence originally built in 2001. The previous Panhandle record of $28.5 million was set in 2024 by a sale in the same community.

The sellers, lumber industry leaders Finley and Martha Kay McRae, opted to sell the estate after nearly two decades of ownership. The buyers, developers Ryan and Ashley Templeton of Templeton Development LLC, plan to subdivide the site into three parcels, demolish the existing home, and build two new spec residences.

Brad Dahler of Scenic Sotheby’s International Realty represented the buyers in the transaction. According to the coverage, the combination of premier acreage, Gulf frontage, and limited beachfront supply helped propel the price to this new high.
